Today, the Railroad Commission of Texas (RRC) adopted the revisions to SWR 32 Exception Data Sheet, which will enhance critical data collection and, in some cases, significantly reduces flare durations.
Staff proposed to rename the new form “Form R-32.” Revisions to the SWR 32 Data Exception Sheet were presented at the August 4th meeting and the Commission received public comments. The Texas Methane & Flaring Coalition submitted comments to the RRC which can be found HERE.
The Coalition applauds the hard work and diligence of RRC Commission Staff on updating this form and in developing an online filing system. The Coalition remains committed to working with the Commission and other stakeholders on a pragmatic and positive approach to regulatory reform regarding flaring in Texas.
