On Friday, January 8, the Texas Methane & Flaring Coalition (the Coalition) filed comments to the Railroad Commission of Texas (RRC) on the proposed changes to the instructions to Form PR Monthly Production Report. The changes proposed will give the RRC significantly more detailed information with which to make regulatory and administrative recommendations and decisions and will give both the Commission and industry information that can be used to identify trends and opportunities for improvement of infrastructure. The Coalition looks forward to continuing to work with the Commission on pragmatic and important changes to minimize flaring and methane emissions in Texas.
